Warehouse Sanitation Associate

Our client, a leading food distribution company, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Sanitation Associate to support warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization at their Calera, AL facility. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build warehouse experience with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness throughout designated warehouse areas
• Travel through assigned warehouse sections to collect and remove debris, including wood pieces, shrink wrap, label backings, and other waste materials
• Move pallets as needed to clean underneath and around storage areas
• Assist with material movement when required
• Adhere to all safety and cleanliness procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout shift
• Strong attention to safety and cleanliness
• Dependable and consistent attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse or sanitation experience
• Comfortable working early morning shifts

About the Role:

Contract Duration: Approximately 15 weeks (608 total hours)

Schedule: Initial training MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM; following training, shift will most likely be 4:00 AM12:30 PM

Location: 1000 Sysco Dr, Calera, AL 35040 (on-site)

Travel: None required

Hours: 40 hours per week, full-time
