- Bachelor/s/Master's Degree
- AZ Teaching Certificate
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card with IVP#
- Appropriately Certified
- SEI Endorsement
- Establish a positive classroom environment conducive to effective instruction and learning
- Provide learning experiences correlated with approved curriculum and State and District standards
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of each pupil
- Communicate learning goals to students in a well-planned, organized manner using clear and precise language
- Facilitate small and large group instruction based on current research-based best practices
- Use available technology to enhance learning
- Evaluate student growth
- Maintain accurate and complete records as required by State/Federal law and District policy
- Establish oral and/or written lines of communication with guardians to discuss pupil progress
- Participate in team reviews concerning academic progress of low performing/at-risk students
- Use site, District, and State assessment data to drive instruction and place students in appropriate instructional and/or intervention programs
- Effectively implement Individual Education Plans
- Assume responsibility for the supervision of students on school property or in attendance at school-sponsored activities
- Take necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
- Participate in school-wide events, scheduled meetings, and conferences with guardians
- Participate in school and District initiatives
- Maintain professional competence through participation in District provided professional development sessions and/or self-selected professional growth activities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the District or school site
- Promote positive interactions with students, parents, and colleagues
- Be responsible, reliable, and punctual

- Exercise positive problem-solving behavior and conflict resolution skills
- Adhere to the dress code appropriate to the site and position

- Teaching positions typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, fingering, standing, walking, pushing, reaching, lifting, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
- Employees may be subject to travel, body fluids, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, workspace restrictions, variant temperatures, and intense noise.
- Employees may be required to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pound of force constantly to move objects.
