Key Responsibilities\n

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs through comprehensive assessments and evaluations.

  • Conduct evidence-based therapeutic interventions with a focus on groups, families, couples, and individuals, aimed at addressing a spectrum of mental health issues.

  • Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting your approach based on client feedback and progress.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide coordinated and holistic care to clients.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards to ensure high-quality care and accountability.

  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and more. Your ability to provide culturally sensitive care will be crucial in building rapport and fostering a therapeutic environment where clients feel valued and understood.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

  • At least two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting is mandatory, reflecting hands-on experience in therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
