A well-established healthcare and rehabilitation facility in the Bronx area is seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead and oversee environmental services operations. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and high-quality environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of housekeeping and laundry departments

• Supervise, schedule, and support departmental staff

• Ensure facility-wide cleanliness and compliance with safety standards

• Coordinate staff training, development, and performance management

• Monitor equipment usage, maintenance, and inventory

• Maintain operational efficiency and service quality standards

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in housekeeping management preferred)

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Working knowledge of budgeting and operational cost control

• Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail
