As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Virginia Beach, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and communications location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $17.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or visitor records, issuing credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional front desk presence by answering inquiries, assisting with directions, handling incoming calls and/or deliveries, and reporting security-related concerns or maintenance issues through proper channels.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and other records related to visitor activity, access control, and security-related events at a technology-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
