Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together.We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).Schwab Technology Services enables the future of how clients manage their money by delivering innovative, scalable, and reliable technology solutions.As a Senior Software Engineer within the Liquidity & Funding Technology organization, you will play a critical role in modernizing the platforms, data capabilities, and cloud-based solutions that support regulatory reporting and funding operations across the firm.Working at the intersection of software engineering, enterprise data, cloud transformation, and business enablement, you will design and deliver solutions that improve operational resilience and support the firm’s financial strength.Responsibilities:Serve as the technical lead for a suite of liquidity and funding technology applications that support regulatory reporting and analytics.Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and help translate those needs into technical solutions.Provide technical direction and guidance to the development team on new initiatives and enhancements.Remain hands-on with coding and development work, including software engineering, analysis, validation, and delivery activities.Support existing applications while also contributing to a modernization effort that will evolve the platform over time.Work closely with large-scale data processing and analytics solutions that support liquidity reporting across the firm.Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, collaboration, software design expertise, and a passion for solving complex business and technology challenges. You will partner across engineering, product, and business teams, influence technical direction, promote engineering excellence through design and code reviews, and help mentor fellow engineers while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and innovation What you have Required Qualifications:8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software applications.Proficiency with .NET 8+ and object-oriented programming principles.Experience building scalable applications, services, APIs, and data integration solutions.Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.Experience with Google BigQuery or comparable data warehouse technologies.Experience utilizing cloud-native services within GCP, AWS, or Azure environments.Knowledge of software design principles, system architecture, and modern development practices.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills used to deliver business outcomes.Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated attention to detail and customer-focused decision making.Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and team development.Understanding of how Generative AI tools, agents, and skills can improve software development productivity and quality.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, OR 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting financial services technology platforms.Knowledge of liquidity and funding management concepts, including regulatory reporting, liquidity stress testing, or related risk and treasury functions.Experience working independently while effectively partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular or React.Experience leading modernization, cloud transformation, or greenfield development initiatives.Strong adaptability and continuous learning mindset.Experience operating within Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.Job SummaryRequisition ID: 2026-127292Posted Date: 19 hours ago(9/24/2026 10:56 AM)Category: Engineering & Software DevelopmentSalary Range: USD $117,300.00 - $174,000.00 / YearApplication deadline: 10/2/2026Position Type: Full time
