Overview ACME Freight, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), is seeking friendly, reliable, motivated, hardworking individuals who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment! We have immediate openings for permanent Full-time Delivery Driver positions! We offer great pay, full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Overtime. Approximate hours are 10:10 am to 8:40 pm. Shifts range between 10-12 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week. This job is: Military‑experienced candidates are encouraged to apply Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED Good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more Good job for someone just entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education All ages, including older job seekers, are encouraged to apply Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma Responsibilities Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times Use a handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers Lift packages up to 50 lbs. Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift As a Delivery Associate, you will operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records. You will be proficient with iOS/Android apps, reading maps, and using GPS. Qualifications Eligible to work in the U.S. At least 21 years of age Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test Must have a clean motor vehicle report (Multiple violations can disqualify you from the position) Must be able to work some weekends and holidays Must be comfortable operating and navigating a delivery van, (Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter size) Basic valid California Driver's License Full-time or part-time position Can lift a maximum of 50 pounds during an 8 to 10‑hour work shift Comfortable working under any weather conditions (Rainy days, etc.) Proficient with iOS/Android apps, reading maps, and using GPS Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays Delivered for another Delivery Service Company in the past (e.g., Amazon, FedEx, UPS) #J-18808-Ljbffr
