Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) support is needed in Pocatello, Idaho. The position involves assisting during various cardiovascular procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, and thoracic surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role supports the organizations mission to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Pocatello, Idaho
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
• Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts
• Schedule: 5 days per week, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 1 year of charge experience, community hospital experience, travel experience (required), valid state or compact license in hand at time of submittal, RTO (Registered Travel Only) must be listed at time of submittal, previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler, vaccinations including COVID-19 and flu vaccines.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CVOR procedures such as atrial septal defect repair, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
• Additional Information: Candidates must complete onboarding core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing. Modules are completed onsite during orientation.
• Certifications and Skills: CVOR, atrial septal defect repair, CABG, MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, TAVR, fire safety, cell saver, administration of blood and blood products, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol, wound management.
