Full Steam Staffing is hiring Maintenance Leads in Wasco, CA!

Location: Wasco, CA

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Shifts Available: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift

Seasonal Position – Pistachio Harvest Season

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Lead to support our team during the busy pistachio harvest season in Wasco, CA. The Maintenance Lead will help oversee daily maintenance activities, support technicians, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure machinery and facility operations run safely and efficiently in a fast-paced food processing environment.

• Lead and support maintenance team members with daily tasks and assignments.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on processing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance improvements.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
• Coordinate with production teams to address equipment needs and reduce interruptions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation.
• Train and provide guidance to maintenance team members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, OSHA, and company safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.

• Previous maintenance experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or industrial environment required.
• Experience leading or assisting a maintenance team preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying conditions.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed during the harvest season.
