Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care for patients on the Med Surg unit using the nursing process.
• Assess patient conditions, develop plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and adjust care as needed.
• Supervise and direct activities of licensed and unlicensed nursing staff on the unit.
• Coordinate care with physicians, case management, therapists, and other disciplines.
• Document care accurately and maintain clinical standards, patient safety, and quality of care.

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Med Surg experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an inpatient setting
• Willingness to travel for a 14-week assignment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
