Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 or 4x12 Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekdays and every other weekend.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will play a crucial role in providing care for patients during labor and delivery. The RN will be responsible for monitoring the health of mothers and their babies, performing assessments, and assisting with any necessary medical interventions. This position requires the ability to float to the Mother Baby unit as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
• Assist with deliveries and perform triage and scrub duties as required.
• Collaborate with midwives and physicians to ensure optimal care.
• Float to the Mother Baby unit when not needed in Labor and Delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
• Active RN license; pending state licenses are accepted.
