Senior Electrical QA/QC Agent Job Information Job ID: 2026-5686 | Location: US-WI-Kenosha Overview Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) designs and builds mission‑critical facilities across a range of sectors, delivering high‑performance solutions. Why we need you In this role, you will resolve quality control challenges and execute tasks such as developing and implementing quality control process delivery plans based on project requirements, design and construction documents, field surveys, specifications, shop drawings, and code research. You will also mentor and support less experienced team members and respond to questions across multiple site locations. Qualifications A technical or associate degree in an electrical‑related field, engineering, or construction management, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in electrical service or electrical equipment testing. Minimum of five (5) years in mission‑critical environments and two (2) years in the hyperscale space. Functional knowledge of building systems across disciplines, including fire protection, electrical, technology, instrumentation and controls, process, and lighting systems. Experience with primary and emergency service on state‑of‑the‑art critical systems, including fire detection/suppression, building monitoring systems, diesel generators, medium voltage switchgear, UPS systems, and power distribution equipment. Fundamental knowledge of commissioning processes and delivery. Fundamental knowledge of construction processes and project delivery models. Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, standards, specifications, and shop drawings, with the ability to interpret them. Proficiency using applicable technologies, including computer/software, data loggers, and test and measurement equipment. Valid driver’s license and state‑required vehicle insurance. Skills General understanding of resources required to complete specific types of projects. Ability to anticipate inspections and effectively delegate and balance workload among team members. Strong teamwork and mentoring capabilities with constructive feedback. Excellent communication with clients, project partners, and all organizational levels. Application of safety training to avoid unsafe work environments. Proficient operation of test and measurement equipment and common tools. Strong written and spoken communication skills. Excellent organization and time‑management skills. Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work individually or within a team. Procore, CxAlloy, or BIM360 experience is a plus. Typical Responsibilities Perform periodic site walks to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices, including assisting general contractors and their site superintendents with inspections as required. Deliver a daily report detailing completed tasks or inspections and provide information regarding issues supported by relevant codes or standards. Collaborate in a team environment, including carrying out appropriate follow‑through with others, mentoring, delegating work, and giving and receiving constructive feedback. On‑site expectation is 100% when placed within the region; when required outside the region, up to 75% travel may be expected, varying by site requirements.
