Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Adira at Riverside, a premier rehabilitation facility in Yonkers, New York. About the Role As a Registered Nurse at Adira at Riverside, you will be accountable for the leadership of the nursing unit and its activities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing care delivered to our elders, while also supporting the implementation and adherence of facility policies and procedures by subordinate staff and ancillary personnel. Our ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in gerontology, an understanding of the special needs of the geriatric resident, and the ability to provide leadership and supervision to subordinate personnel. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care delivered to residents Provide leadership and supervision to subordinate personnel Support the implementation and adherence of facility policies and procedures Participate in MDS and care planning process Demonstrate proficiency in gerontology and the special needs of the geriatric resident Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Requirements Must be a Registered Professional Nurse currently licensed in the State of New York Graduate of an approved NLN accredited nursing program with a minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing (BS preferred) Ability to provide leadership and supervision to subordinate personnel Genuine interest in gerontology, and an understanding of the special needs of the geriatric resident Must successfully pass pre-employment health screening / background check Proficiency on the MDS and care planning process, PRI Certification preferred What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of $40 - $50 Opportunity to work in a luxury and style rehabilitation facility Collaborative and dynamic work environment Professional development opportunities
