Senior Business Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst. This position liaises with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to processes or systems. The successful candidate will be adept at understanding and documenting business challenges and translating them into detailed, change request requirements. The Senior Business Analyst is a self-motivated individual contributor working with direct oversight.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzes business requests and applies critical thinking and research skills to design effective solutions with minimal supervision.
• Follows established procedures and templates to collaboratively develop detailed requirements in a consistent manner.
• Performs specialized assignments, solves complex problems, and develops non-traditional solutions through analytical thinking.
• Communicates complex concepts to the development team, generating clarity and alignment on projects.
• Develops process flows, writes requirements, and completes user acceptance testing with speed and accuracy.
• Demonstrates proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, LucidCharts, XML, JSON and Postman
• Communicates with tact and diplomacy when working across teams, internally or with external business partners or clients.
• Learns and quickly adapts to changing technology and procedures.
• Plans and prioritizes work in a self-directed manner, working on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• Documents processes and systems, prepares client-facing user documentation, and provide updates via client meetings and presentations.

PREFERRED PROFILE:

• 3+ years of work experience as a Senior Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience working within one or more Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Iterative.
• Experience with B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, cloud technologies and API development and integration.
• Fundamental understanding of User Experience (UX) design principles for mobile and desktop applications.
• Hands-on experience working with credit reports, verification solutions, or loan origination systems highly desired.
