Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Milkco is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic. This position provides on-site maintenance and repair for all aspects of the plant. This includes:

1. Performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electronic and hydraulic systems. This includes packaging equipment, conveyors & production machinery.
2. Ordering & installing new & replacement components as needed.
3. Effective communication with management, including proactive suggestions for continuous improvement.
4. Other general maintenance tasks as directed.

The ideal candidate has a background in general maintenance and repair, some electrical experience, and a can-do attitude. Since our equipment is so specialized, you will receive machine-specific training.

Please note: This position is full-time, 5 days per week. Exact schedules vary but it does require some weekends, including alternate Saturdays.

Compensation Information:

• Automatic 60-Day Pay Review
• Automatic Annual Pay Review
• Shift Differentials

Employment Requirements:

• Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening (provided by Milkco).
• Will conduct a Criminal Background Check.
• Must pass an E-Verify Screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand a minimum of 7 ½ hours per day.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs.
• Extended periods of overhead lifting, kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing and other related movements may be required.

Experience:

• Will train the right person.
• Prefer that applicants have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
• Need to be cooperative and able to get along with a lot of people.
• Must be a team player with the ability to contribute in a team atmosphere
