RN in Critical Care

This position is for an RN in critical care. The role requires working nights on a 12-hour shift schedule. The typical patient ratio is 2/3 patients to 1 nurse. The unit has 19 beds and primarily handles medical, basic cardiac, and neuro patients. Candidates must have a self-starter attitude and be focused on teamwork. The dress code requires professional scrub attire in black with no hoodies. This is an acute care setting committed to providing high-quality care. Job responsibilities involve assessing and monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Participation in ongoing education and training is expected.

Experience: 2+ years

License: Current RN licensure or temporary work permit

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Must-Have: Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of course within probation period Current ACLS card or completion of ACLS course within 12 months Experience with Critical Care, Post Stroke, Titrating Cardiac Drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), Bipaps, utilizing Airvos Ability to recognize a deteriorating patient Experience with ventilated compressors Floating experience in Med Surg and Tele
