At CareVet of Cochranton, we are a busy, community-focused 2-doctor practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while creating a supportive and positive workplace for our team. We are currently seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team.

What You'll Do
As a valued member of our medical team, you will play a hands-on role in patient care and client education. Responsibilities include:
- Patient triage and medical history collection
- Assisting with routine and sick appointments
- Venipuncture and laboratory sample collection
- Digital radiography
- IV catheter placement
- Medication administration (IV, IM, SQ)
- Surgical and anesthesia monitoring
- Dental prophylaxis
- Cardiac monitoring
- Diagnostic imaging
- Client communication and education
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Supporting a positive and efficient workflow throughout the clinic

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of veterinary experience preferred
- CVT/LVT certification preferred but not required
- Graduate of an accredited veterinary technology program preferred but not required
- Knowledge of animal behavior, restraint, and patient handling
- Experience with anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, and laboratory procedures is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stoop
- Comfortable working in a busy veterinary environment
