Primary clinical responsibilities will be based at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive breast imaging within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment. UF Health Shands features nationally ranked subspecialty programs, a comprehensive children's hospital, and a Level I Trauma Center. UF Health is also recognized as a premier National Medical Center for Team USA and is home to the only NCI-designated cancer center based at a public university in Florida. Responsibilities Clinical responsibilities include: Digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis Breast ultrasound Breast MRI Image-guided breast procedures, including: Tomosynthesis-guided biopsies Stereotactic biopsies Ultrasound-guided biopsies MRI-guided biopsies Teaching and mentoring radiology residents, fellows, and medical students through case readouts, conferences, and formal educational activities Participation in scholarly and academic activities About Gainesville Gainesville is a vibrant and affordable community offering an exceptional quality of life, combining the resources of a major academic medical center with the charm of a college town.
