Job Description Draft and negotiate sophisticated commercial real estate finance transaction documents. Handle finance agreements, loan modifications, consents, assumptions, extensions, forbearances, workouts, and related documentation. Advise CMBS loan servicers, special servicers, and institutional lenders on performing and non-performing loans. Work on complex loan sales, asset dispositions, restructurings, and other debt-related transactions. Analyze loan documents, servicing issues, borrower requests, defaults, and workout strategies. Manage matters involving office, retail, multifamily, hospitality, self-storage, healthcare, and other commercial real estate assets. Coordinate with clients, borrowers, opposing counsel, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout complex transactions. Provide practical, strategic guidance on legal and business issues affecting commercial real estate loans nationwide. Qualifications Florida Bar admission or eligibility for admission required. 6+ years of commercial real estate finance experience. Significant experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated finance agreements and related transaction documents. Experience with modifications, consents, workouts, restructurings, or similar commercial loan matters. Strong academic credentials. Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. CMBS industry experience preferred. Major law firm experience preferred. Spanish language skills preferred.
