Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | 36–48 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients throughout an assigned shift
• Prescribe and implement nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and patient/family input
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate and deliver patient care across all applicable age groups
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS, HS-ACLS, or RQI ACLS) certification required at time of hire
• Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia recognition during orientation (all departments except Obstetrics and NICU)
• Epic EMR experience required; Cerner experience required — both must have been used within the last 5 years
• Each work history entry must identify the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used within a single position, dates clarifying usage periods must be provided

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
• Prior experience as a direct employee or successfully completed travel/contract assignment
