Controls Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Controls Maintenance Technician Location: Dublin, OH 43016 Duration: 4-Month Contract (Possible Extension) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Controls Systems Technician III to join our team in Dublin, OH. This position is responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining HVAC Building Automation Systems (BAS). The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC controls, system diagnostics, controller programming, and commissioning while delivering outstanding customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with strong HVAC controls knowledge who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and ensuring building systems operate efficiently. Key Responsibilities Commission HVAC Building Automation Systems using company configuration and commissioning tools Load and configure system-level controller software Perform system diagnostics from controllers to field devices including sensors, actuators, and other control components Troubleshoot HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues Respond to warranty and service calls Calibrate HVAC control systems using electronic testing equipment Complete commissioning reports and all required project documentation Document system modifications and provide information for as-built documentation Keep customers and project management informed of project status and any issues Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after service visits Complete daily administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and service documentation Identify opportunities to improve building performance and recommend system enhancements Prepare customer quotes for recommended repairs or upgrades Follow all company safety policies and participate in required safety training Required Qualifications Associate degree or completion of a vocational/technical program in: Electronics, Mechanical Systems, HVAC Technology, Computer Technology, Air Conditioning Or a related technical field OR Minimum 4 years of experience servicing HVAC mechanical, electrical, or electronic control systems Required Skills Experience with HVAC Controls or Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controller programming and software configuration experience HVAC commissioning experience Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls systems Knowledge of sensors, actuators, controllers, and field devices Experience using electronic testing and calibration equipment Strong computer skills Ability to interpret technical documentation Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work independently while maintaining high safety standards PG - R1 Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $25 - $35 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
