Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystCentury Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $110,000 per year.Job Responsibilities:Support annual capital and operating budget activities and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial inputs.Perform monthly variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and prior periods and summarize insights.Prepare and update financial forecasting models to reflect current performance and expected trends.Assist leadership with analysis of acquisitions and evaluation of new business opportunities.Compile, maintain, and publish financial and key performance reports and support audit and regulatory data requests.Requirements:A Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.4+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.Demonstrate ability to read, analyze, and explain financial reports to internal teams and auditors.Use advanced computer tools confidently with strong proficiency in Excel and financial systems.Communicate effectively and build productive working relationships across departments.Qualifications:Apply strong analytical thinking to large data sets while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.Work independently with initiative, manage deadlines, and maintain professionalism during high pressure periods.Contribute to continuous improvement by leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and documentation.Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.Bring experience with enterprise reporting platforms and forecasting tools considered beneficial.
