The Margaret Murphy Centers for Children is looking for a full-time infant/toddler staff to care for the children of our teachers! This is a full-time position within our birth to three year old childcare program. The candidate will work within our infant and toddler classrooms throughout the day, providing care, instruction, and fun!

There are many skills, abilities, and knowledge that our childcare staff must possess! Among those skills are listening, instructing, learning strategies, critical thinking, monitoring, negotiating, and learning. Childcare staff must plan for structured daily activities and routines for children, as well as manage time needed to prep for activities, clean the classroom (materials, toys, etc.), and plan for rotation of toys and materials while incorporating novel tasks and activities.

This is a position for an individual who loves children, works well with others, and is flexible! Our center is open M-F 7:30-4:30 daily. Staff are given a consistent full time schedule with benefits! Our calendar includes 3 paid weeks of vacation, built-in long weekends throughout the year, weekly paid time off accrual, and opportunities for professional development!

• The chosen candidate must have a high school diploma. An Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience working with children preferred.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
