To be successful in this role you should work well in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to quickly learn/adapt and possess good written and verbal communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Perform activities such as measurement, inspection, gauge tracking, calibrations, audits, and troubleshootingCommunicate effectively to internal customersUnderstand and apply basic quality tools (5Why, Pareto Analysis, Check Sheets, etc.)Perform tasks using basic skills in mathematics, metrology, calibration, and qualityProvide support to other Associates in gauge/instrument use, troubleshooting, and repairBe an active part of continuous improvement activities such as kaizen, 3P, and other lean eventsPerform tasks following the control of non-conforming material processWho You Are and What You Bring:18 years or olderHigh School Diploma or GEDDemonstrated competence in the use of quality procedures, measurement systems, and print readingAccurate and well-organized work, good documentation, attention to detail, and communication skills (written and verbal)Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasksDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively when relaying technical informationDesire and drive to obtain ASQ quality certificationsDemonstrated ability to work productively in a team environmentExperience That Sets You Apart:CMM/PCDMIS programming/troubleshooting experience is heavily preferredCQT or CQI CertificationProficiency with interpreting standards (Y14.5M)Ability to train and mentor othersGagetrakMinitabSolidworks6-sigma/Lean certificationsLocation: OnsiteTravel: NoneSchedule: Monday-Friday 7a-3p (roughly - hours flex based on business need)Hypertherm Associates is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we welcome all applications.
