Location: Pennsylvania (preferred: Wayne, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; State College, PA) Work Setting: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 (flexibility for candidates dependent on experience) Bonus: Up to 10% annual performance-based bonus Benefits: Full medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and comprehensive employer benefits package Position Summary The Account Manager is a client‑facing role within the Employer Solutions Benefits segment, responsible for managing and servicing a book of business across Pennsylvania. This position focuses on client retention, benefits administration, and renewal management, acting as the primary day‑to‑day contact for both clients and carriers. This is not a sales role. Instead, the Account Manager serves as a strategic partner to clients, supporting benefit plan design, open enrollment, and ongoing service needs while collaborating closely with Account Executives and internal teams. What You’ll Do Manage day‑to‑day service and relationships for an assigned book of business Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and carriers Lead renewal processes, including preparing presentations and benefit materials Support open enrollment planning and execution for client organizations Analyze and compare carrier quotes, plan designs, and coverage options Coordinate RFPs, renewal negotiations, and claims support activities Prepare client deliverables including benefit guides, presentations, and communications Ensure compliance with benefits regulations (e.g., Form 5500, SBC, SPD) Collaborate with Account Executives, internal teams, and third‑party vendors Support benefits administration, enrollment processing, and system updates Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) to manage accounts and track activity Identify opportunities to improve client experience and operational efficiency What You Bring 2+ years of employee benefits experience (brokerage or consulting side strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of renewals, open enrollment, and benefits plan design Experience managing client and carrier relationships Strong communication and client‑facing skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 6 months) Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an insurance brokerage environment Exposure to compliance and regulatory requirements Strong analytical and financial acumen Experience with syndicated or benefits‑related data analysis Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience) Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus What You Get Competitive base salary with bonus eligibility Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match High‑visibility, client‑facing role with direct impact on retention and satisfaction Opportunity to work closely with Account Executives and leadership Exposure to a wide range of employee benefits strategies and consulting work Hybrid flexibility with autonomy in scheduling Collaborative team environment with strong support structure Opportunity for long‑term growth within a well‑established brokerage firm #J-18808-Ljbffr
