Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 3x12, Days

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg/Tele department provides optimal patient care through the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role involves utilizing nursing skills and knowledge to ensure comprehensive care and positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient responses.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and competency evaluations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and telemetry competency.
