Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience for a 13-week assignment in Washington State.

Details

• Diagnostic imaging department at a community hospital setting
• Performs routine MRI procedures as well as difficult and complex radiographic procedures with assistance
• Monday through Friday schedule, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT or ARRT(MR) certification required; candidates who are registry eligible must pass ARRT(MR) within 6 months of hire
• ARMRIT certification accepted in lieu of ARRT(MR)
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• Completed coursework in cross-sectional anatomy required
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and push a 200 lb loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Good stamina, flexibility, and manual dexterity required

Additional Information

• Performs all routine MRI procedures and assists with difficult and complex radiographic procedures
• Also performs related duties in the office area of the diagnostic imaging department
• Reports to the Diagnostic Imaging Director
