Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst Top Skills Minimum 3 years of experience in reports and data analysis within logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments. High proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, Access, BI Tools, PowerPoint, and SAP is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field. Position Description The Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for all aspects of data mining, extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities Accountable for developing and reporting daily, weekly, and monthly analysis of key performance indicators related to warehouse operational metrics. This position requires an extremely detailed, timely, consistent, and accurate approach to reporting. Having strong written and verbal communication skills is critical to succeed in this position, as SEA’s senior management and headquarters team will be the targeted audiences for the reports and analysis performed by this position. Reporting can also be used to set the priorities throughout the operations, ensuring that key issues are addressed. Daily/weekly briefings and communications are needed to ensure consistent information is shared throughout the operations. This position is a task-oriented role, requiring very good organizational skills and follow-through. The position requires interaction with a broad number of employees to validate data and collaborate on discrepancies found. This position is a key role in the critical analysis of costs associated with the logistics warehouse and transportation operations & cost. This position is also responsible for supporting improvement opportunities throughout the organization, for monitoring discrepancies and escalating to appropriate parties. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in reports and data analysis within logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments. Experience in cost analysis and reporting of key performance indicators. High proficiency in MS Excel (40%), SQL (35%), Access, BI Tools, and PowerPoint (25%) is required. Experience in a logistics, warehouse, and/or supply chain (operations) environment is required. Experience with SAP is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field. Results-driven with the ability to handle multiple projects. Necessary Skills / Attributes: Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Strong data mining skills and experience extracting & manipulating data from multiple sources. Critical thinking skills – analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open‑mind‑ness, and problem‑solving. Strong math, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Must be comfortable working in a multicultural business environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to employ effective time management skills. Independently follow and execute work assignments. Must be able to work without supervision; self‑starter. Ability to interact with all levels of management, including executives. Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time‑sensitive job stress, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, and language barriers.
