Our organization is excited to announce a leadership position for a System Medical Director of Advanced Heart Failure within our cardiology department, situated in the western suburbs of Philadelphia.

We are seeking a qualified individual to become part of our expanding, highly regarded cardiovascular program. The System Medical Director of Advanced Heart Failure will play a crucial role in the creation, execution, and supervision of advanced heart failure care across our network of hospitals and affiliated facilities. This position demands an experienced cardiologist with a strong background in managing intricate heart failure cases, including ECMO and VAD, along with proven leadership abilities to enhance clinical quality, research initiatives, and program expansion.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution, with board certification in Cardiology and subspecialties in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
• Active medical license in Pennsylvania, with eligibility for medical staff privileges at our hospitals.
• Extensive clinical experience in managing patients with advanced heart failure, including mechanical circulatory support and heart transplant evaluations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in academic or clinical environments, with a focus on program development, quality improvement, and research.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and engagement with a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong dedication to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional development.
