ASCP or AMT Medical Laboratory Scientist - Hospital Setting

MLS Schedule: 8-hour evening shifts, 2:00pm - 11:30pm, evening shift differential offered! Medical Laboratory Scientist / MLS Position Overview:
- High-tech lab that includes areas of Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulations, Urinalysis, Blood Bank and a full Microbiology Department
- High energy department utilizing a state-of-the-art automation line, Epic Beaker and SoftBank LIS Systems
Medical Laboratory Scientist / MLS Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to contribute to the accurate diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
- Utilize cutting-edge laboratory equipment and technology within a state-of-the-art facility.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
- Maintain proficiency in laboratory techniques and stay abreast of advancements in the field.
- Adhere to established protocols, quality control measures, and safety standards.
Medical Technologist Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or a related field.
- Certification as MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP) CM, or MT, AMT.
- Ability to perform laboratory duties with precision and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts (2:00pm-11:30pm), 40 weekly hours, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
