Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong understanding of culinary techniques. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. The Line Cook/Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and maintaining food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
• Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high standards of service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with fine dining or catering environments is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a kitchen setting.
• A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new skills within the culinary field.
• Certification in food safety or culinary arts is advantageous but not mandatory.
