Contract | Nights | Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | On-call required (2–3 call shifts/month); availability for holidays per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and verify exam orders prior to initiating scans, adhering strictly to department safety policies and procedures
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging services
• Prepare patients for CT scans, explain procedures, and insert IVs when required
• Position patients appropriately, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records by documenting all necessary components in EPIC, ensuring images are correctly identified and transmitted to the PACS system upon exam completion
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a formal training program at an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Active certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active New York State licensure (must be obtained prior to start date); HCPs currently licensed in NYS must have injection therapy certification noted on their license at time of submission
• Minimum of two (2) years of CT Technologist experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Injection therapy certification; candidates without current certification must be willing to complete it during the orientation process
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens CT equipment
• Telemetry experience
