Opportunity for an Interventional Cardiologist

Location: Shreveport, LA

Our organization is currently seeking a full-time, board-certified or eligible Interventional Cardiologist. This role offers a distinctive blend of cultural influences, featuring a touch of Cajun flair and proximity to the Texas border, just a short drive away. Key Features of the Position:

Attractive Starting Salary: $325,000 - $390,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for unscheduled hours during emergencies or on-call duties.
Conduct both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations.
Perform standard diagnostic and cardiovascular procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations, ECGs, and angioplasties.
Engage in clinical practice and provide education to Cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students.
This role includes a faculty appointment at the affiliated Louisiana State University Health and Science Center, based on qualifications.
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens; non-citizen candidates may be considered if no suitable U.S. Citizen is found.
Possess a full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state.
Must be board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
Experience in peripheral vascular interventions is preferred; training in structural heart disease and/or venous interventions is a plus.
