Clinic RN

Job Summary

The Clinic RN provides high-quality outpatient nursing care as part of a collaborative primary care team. Working alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinic staff, the RN performs patient assessments, triage, care coordination, patient education, medication administration, and chronic disease management while ensuring an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient nursing care, including assessments, triage, treatment, and follow-up.
• Manage patient phone calls, portal messages, and nursing advice using established protocols.
• Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and other clinic treatments.
• Perform point-of-care and CLIA-waived laboratory testing.
• Coordinate care with providers, specialists, and ancillary departments.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and serve as a clinical resource for patients and staff.

Qualifications

Required

• Current Colorado RN license or active Compact RN license
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience
• Strong assessment, triage, patient education, and care coordination skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient clinic

Preferred

• Experience in Rural Health, Primary Care, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine
• Experience with immunizations, medication administration, nursing triage, and CLIA-waived testing
• Quality improvement and patient engagement experience

Assignment Details

• Openings: 2 Travel RNs
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10-hour day shifts (40 hours/week)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• EMR: Cerner (required)
