Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school environment. This full-time position aligns with the academic calendar, running from August 6, 2024, through May 22, 2025. Each workday spans seven hours, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and an additional 30-minute unpaid break to keep you refreshed and focused.

You’ll collaborate across three schools, engaging with students at multiple sites. The standard schedule is 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a slight variance depending on your assignment for the day. Your SLP-CCC certification and previous school-based experience will be invaluable as you help K-12 learners develop essential communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience in a school setting, especially with K-12 students, preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work flexibly across different school environments
• Up-to-date knowledge of best practices for assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for speech and language development

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy and support for a diverse caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Document progress and participate in meetings and parent conferences as needed
