Job DetailsIn this role you will be:Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and recording patient care in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care.Coordinating nursing care in conjunction with other members of the health team.Directing and assisting with the Licensed Practical Nurse, HBO technician, and Nursing Students in rendering care to patients.Working collaboratively with all members of the patient care team.Responding quickly and appropriately to changes in patient's clinical condition.Demonstrating the ability to function as a charge nurse as assigned.Demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the span of life and identifies age-specific needs and plans care accordingly.Required:EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)EXPERIENCE:Minimum 2 years med-surg experience preferredWound care experience preferredHBO experience preferred or attained within 2 months of hire (FT and PT only)Experience in outpatient clinic setting preferredLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:Possess current license as an RN in PennsylvaniaBLS required or obtained within 1 month of hireACLS required or obtained within 6 months of hireWound certification preferredShifts:Days/VariesEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
