Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon OpportunityWe are seeking a Fellowship-Trained Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a physician-led organization in Glendale, AZ focused on building and supporting high-performing surgical teams across the United States. Our model emphasizes predictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and allowing surgeons to focus on delivering exceptional patient care in a hospital-based setting.This position supports a Level II Trauma Center and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a collaborative, well-supported environment. The practice provides a balanced mix of operative and non-operative trauma care while maintaining a strong commitment to quality outcomes and patient-centered care.Schedule183 shifts annually (24-hour shifts)Blocked scheduling with 7-day stretchesBuilt-in recovery time between rotationsResponsibilitiesProvide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patientsParticipate in trauma call coverageManage a broad range of fracture care and orthopedic injuriesCollaborate with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalist, and rehabilitation teamsBalance surgical cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilitiesEnsure timely documentation and high-quality patient careRequirementsBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic SurgeryCompletion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship preferredExperience managing orthopedic trauma patients in a hospital-based settingEligible for Arizona medical licensureAbility to obtain and maintain hospital privilegesExtras:Generous (above market) hourly rateAll travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rateMed-mal and tail insurance coveredPersonal locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shifts
