Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator with experience in a manufacturing environment to join our assembly department. The role involves making hydraulic and low voltage electrical components for RVs, with openings available in both manifolds and cylinders.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and utilize calipers and micrometers to ensure precision.
• Respond to operator calls for service repairs and troubleshoot broken equipment.
• Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.
• Sit down while assembling products as needed, with training provided.
• Collaborate in a team setting to produce components for RVs.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of calipers and micrometers.
• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in assembly, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with attention to detail.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and use hand and power tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is a production machining setting with a team of 20 on the first shift, primarily operators and a few laborers. The first shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOSCOW, IA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
