Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Mid-Shift (Evening Rotating) | Expected 72 hours biweekly; shift start times of 9AM, 11AM, or 3PM with ability to flex to days (starting at 7AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment serving a diverse surgical patient population
• Support surgical procedures across multiple specialties including Orthopedics (Joint Replacements, Sports Medicine, and Oncology) , Gynecology, General Surgery, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, and Interventional Pulmonology
• Participate in on-call rotation, including short call (2 hours post-shift), weekend call (7AM–7PM or 7PM–7AM, once per month), and overnight weeknight call (7PM–7AM, once per week when working days)
• Collaborate with surgical teams in a teaching hospital setting to deliver safe, high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 1–3 years of Operating Room experience required
• Strong Orthopedic and Total Joints experience required
• Experience in Gynecology and General Surgery required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
• Specialty area expertise within the Operating Room
