HIRING IMMEDIATELY: PICKER/PACKER IN ATLANTA, GA
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Picker/Packer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This individual will be responsible for locating items in a warehouse, pulling them from shelves according to customer orders, packaging items securely, and processing them for shipment. The ideal candidate will possess willingness to be cross trained, ability to stand, bend, and walk during shifts, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $16/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- Saturday-Sunday 7am-4:30pm
- Thursday-Saturday 6:30AM-7PM
- Located in Atlanta, Georgia
Duties and Responsibilities
- Order Picking: Locate products using Pick Sheets or handheld RF (Radio Frequency) scanners; pull correct items, quantities, and lot numbers from bin locations
- Packing & Assembly: Inspect items for damage, verify order accuracy, select appropriate boxes or mailers, wrap fragile items, and pack securely to prevent damage in transit
- Shipping Preparation: Print and apply shipping labels, weigh packages, attach packing slips, and stage completed boxes for carrier pickup
- Inventory Control: Report missing stock, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies to warehouse supervisors
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate manual or electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and barcode scanners
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations clean, restock packaging supplies (boxes, tape, bubble wrap), and follow all safety protocols
