Job Summary:

Seeking a Skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room unit at a state-of-the-art medical center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality perioperative care, supporting various surgical specialties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist surgical teams with sterile procedures and equipment setup.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes during procedures.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Kansas or compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in anesthesia, sterile techniques, and patient monitoring.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including 8, 10, or 12-hour schedules.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
