Summary You will serve as a Building Management Specialist for the Office of Facilities and Administrative Services. Learn more about this agency Duties Help Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain Contracting Officers Representative (COR) status and serve as COR for building service and project contracts.
- Analyze key performance indicators for assigned contracts to ensure adherence to performance requirements. Provide detailed reports to supervisor.
- Assist in answering any facilities service request via phone or email and route requests accordingly and in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain a digital system of record keeping for building records, environmental testing and reports, current contacts within the Udall Building and all building operations files.
- Perform special, nonrecurring project assignments requiring specialized expertise to address difficult facility-related problems and regarding the management of assigned real-property assets, financial planning and budget execution, and other special needs of the organization.
- Effectively communicates technical and nontechnical information both orally and in writing to associates and employees. Expresses facts and ideas in writing in a succinct and organized manner.
- Works with clients and customers to assess needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, and satisfy expectations.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.

- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment.

- Specialized Experience Requirement: you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: experience conducting facility surveys for a large complex, developing preventative maintenance plans, making recommendations for improvement based on studies, and experience reviewing requests for repair to assure compliance to building requirements. You must include hours per week worked.
