Maintenance Tech (Nights)

Required Skills Basic to experienced level of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial environment. Minimum 2 years of experience. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and/or replace switches, sensors, valves, actuators, conveyor belts, electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, power supplies, etc. Understanding of machinery operation, maintenance procedures & PLC-based controls. Preventative and proactive mindset. Full range of body movements including use of hands for handling objects, computer equipment, and peripherals, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, working at heights, crouching/kneeling. Command of senses - sight, hearing, touch, smell. Ability to lift 50 pounds with regularity. Ability to understand and follow work instructions in English. Desirable Skills Experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, automation, and instrumentation. Proficiency in welding. Experience working with manufacturing equipment such as dryers, fluid pumps, conveyors (pneumatic, screw, belt, vibrating), instrumentation (temperature, flow, weights), ovens, motors, fans, extruders, mill grinders. Experience in food or beverage manufacturing. Work Environment 12‑hour, 4–5‑day shift environment with a customer service orientation to plant operations. Pre‑employment background/drug screening and e‑file background testing are required. Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices, including appropriate safety equipment, apply. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to sit for prolonged periods of time, climb stairs, climb ladders and walk plant floors that could exceed one mile of travel per day.
