Service Center Supervisor

As a Service Center Supervisor, you'll train and develop employees, maintain excellent customer service and set goals for your team. You'll oversee your team's day-to-day needs, supervise work in progress and support assistant managers in executing team and building strategies. This role takes place at Geek Squad city, our 240,000-square-foot repair center in Brooks, Kentucky.

What you'll do:

• Train Geek Squad Agents to achieve business and performance metrics
• Monitor employee schedules, exceptions and time off
• Host weekly meetings to touch base on day-to-day work direction and work in progress
• Maintain positive client and vendor relationships
• Conduct tracking and reporting related to individual and department productivity, quality, staffing, workload and escalations
• Make sound business decisions related to workforce planning, waste, exceptions and inventory

Basic qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in training related to consumer electronics
• 1 year of leadership experience
• Able to stand and sit for long periods of time
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Able to lift weight up to 50 pounds
• Able to acquire and maintain required certifications within 90 days of hire
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate degree in business or related field
• 1 year of experience evaluating and repairing consumer electronics
• 1 year of experience in customer service
• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• 6 months of experience using proprietary systems or inventory-related systems such as Star, Smart Parts, Comergent, Gozer, FMS, Breeze, GSX/AST2, OCIS, RSS or Linux
