Role Description The Commercial Truck Lease Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Romulus, MI. This position is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial truck lease customers, identifying new business opportunities, and meeting sales and profitability targets. Daily activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing lease proposals and presentations, negotiating terms and pricing, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely delivery of vehicles. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, monitoring account performance, and providing ongoing support and consultative guidance on leasing options, insurance requirements, and fleet solutions. The Account Executive collaborates closely with sales operations, service, and finance teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and uphold M&K Truck Centers’ standards of service. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Account Management skills, including relationship building, customer retention, and portfolio management. Candidates should possess solid Sales and Sales Management skills, with experience in prospecting, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets. Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance and Sales Operations, including lease structures, risk considerations, and coordination of contract documentation. Candidates should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex leasing options clearly. Relevant experience in commercial truck, fleet, automotive, or transportation leasing is highly beneficial. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficiency in CRM tools and basic office software, are preferred. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally to meet with customers and visit sites as needed.
