About the Role

• We are seeking a hands-on Senior AI Agent Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade conversational AI agents and intelligent workflow automations.
• The role focuses on building solutions within Google Cloud Platform using GECX/Dialogflow CX, integrating with Azure and ServiceNow, automating CI/CD through Azure DevOps, and delivering within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, train, and test conversational flows, intents, custom route groups, state handlers, condition rules, webhook fulfillment, and LLM-powered or generative agent capabilities in Google Cloud Platform using GECX/Dialogflow CX.
• Architect fault-tolerant conversational AI interactions, including context and session variable management, prompt engineering, intent classification, fallback handling, and seamless human escalation workflows.
• Develop RESTful APIs, webhooks, microservices, and asynchronous workflows using .NET/C#, Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Integrate conversational agents with ServiceNow REST APIs and enterprise platforms, including Incident, Change, Service Catalog, and Flow Designer, as well as Microsoft Azure services.
• Build, maintain, and enhance automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML pipelines, release gates, automated linting, test execution, deployment artifacts, environment provisioning, validation, and continuous deployment.
• Implement automated quality engineering and test suites covering unit logic, mock services, webhook APIs, integration testing, dialog-flow regressions, and end-to-end conversational journeys.
• Use automated testing tools and frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, PyTest, Jest, and Postman/Newman.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for conversational analytics, reporting, dynamic agent lookups, backend data operations, relational database modeling, data manipulation, and transactional verification.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and delivery activities, including Program Increment (PI) planning, sprint execution, user story sizing, backlog refinement, and cross-team or Agile Release Train (ART) dependency mapping.
• Use Git-based version control and modern development environments such as Visual Studio Code and Antigravity for coding, debugging, and local emulation.
• Apply enterprise security practices across GCP, Azure, and ServiceNow, including OAuth2, API key management, role-based access control (RBAC), and secrets handling.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale conversational or virtual agents using Google Cloud Platform conversational frameworks, specifically GECX/Dialogflow CX.
• Hands-on expertise with Dialogflow CX capabilities including state handlers, route groups, webhook fulfillment, condition rules, intents, conversational flows, and generative agent functionality.
• Extensive development experience with .NET/C#, Python 3.x, TypeScript, and JavaScript; Python is specifically required.
• Experience building backend services, RESTful APIs, API fulfillment webhooks, microservices, and asynchronous workflows using .NET, Python, Node.js, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Strong experience implementing automated testing strategies for conversational systems and APIs, including unit testing, mock services, integration testing, regression testing for dialog flows, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with modern testing frameworks and tools such as NUnit, xUnit, PyTest, Jest, Postman, and Newman.
• Demonstrated expertise designing and configuring production-ready CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including YAML pipelines, release gates, automated linting, test execution, deployment artifacts, and continuous deployment.
• In-depth multi-cloud integration experience across Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and ServiceNow.
• Experience integrating conversational agents with ServiceNow REST APIs, including Incident, Change, Service Catalog, and Flow Designer.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex query development, relational database modeling, data manipulation, reporting, analytics, dynamic lookups, and transactional verification.
• Solid experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) enterprise environment, including PI planning, sprint iterations, user story sizing, and ART dependency coordination.
• Fluency with Git-based version control and professional development toolchains, including Visual Studio Code and/or Antigravity.
• Experience with AI agent architecture, context and session variable management, prompt engineering, intent classification, fault-tolerant orchestration, fallback workflows, and human escalation.
• Practical knowledge of enterprise security for cloud integrations, including OAuth2, API key management, role-based access control (RBAC), and secrets management across GCP, Azure, and ServiceNow.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and technologies including GECX/Dialogflow CX and Vertex AI; Microsoft Azure; Azure DevOps Pipelines and Repos; ServiceNow REST APIs and Flow Designer; Jira or Azure Boards.
• Ability to work in a hybrid New York City environment and support the contract assignment scheduled from October 19, 2026 through October 22, 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Contact Center AI (CCAI) architectures and telephony or voice gateway integrations.
• Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, telemetry, observability, and AIOps event correlation.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with serverless deployment models including Cloud Run, Google Cloud Functions, and Azure Functions.
