Location: Piscataway, NJ
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Schedule: 3rd Shift – 10:30 PM to 8:30 AM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Foreman Assistant with a background in the plastics industry to support our 3rd shift injection molding operations in Piscataway, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a plastic manufacturing environment and a basic understanding of injection molding processes. This role will assist with troubleshooting injection molding machines, monitoring production, and supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Training will be provided for company-specific processes and procedures. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to grow within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Foreman with daily injection molding production activities
- Help troubleshoot injection molding machines and identify production issues
- Monitor machine operation, production output, and product quality
- Assist with machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting
- Support packing and production lines when needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate production concerns and equipment issues to leadership
- Assist in maintaining efficient production flow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the plastics manufacturing industry required
- Experience with injection molding machines preferred
- Basic understanding of plastic processing and production operations
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently on a 3rd shift schedule
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and positive work attitude
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
