Position: Urgent Care Staff Physician
Location: Bakersfield, CA
1099: Full-time, Part-time, & PRN Available, $150/hour
Bonus: $100,000 Sign-On for Full-Time Only
Stipend: $60,000/year for Medical Directorship

We have 16 clinic locations throughout Central and Southern CA to serve your urgent care needs, and we will have 19 clinics by the end of the year. Job Overview: We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the Advancement of a Medical Directorship in Bakersfield, CA
Essential Responsibilities:
- Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
- Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts, and managing 4 mid-levels
- Part-time is 6 shifts per month and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
- Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care)
- Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
- Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray.
- A board-certified radiologist overreads all X-rays, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
- EMR is Experity with AI Dragon dictation

- Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
- Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
- DEA Certificate
