Position Details West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seek a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in South Charleston, WV. Responsibilities Practice in maternal fetal medicine Provide excellent patient care Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows Qualifications MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent Eligibility for state medical license Completed an ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency Completed a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship Board certified or eligible in MFM by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. About the Department and Institution The department supports outreach obstetrical programs across over 20 hospitals, active maternal transport, and MFM consulting services with onsite ultrasound. An accredited Cytogenetics Laboratory is available for prenatal diagnosis.
