This engaging opportunity involves managing a manageable caseload of 20 students, providing expert therapeutic services for 5-8 hours each week in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current license as a Physical Therapist in Texas
• Previous work in school-based PT highly valued
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy techniques and IEP implementation
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
• Ability to organize schedules efficiently to meet diverse student needs
• Familiarity with special education regulations and compliance preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct physical therapy services to a caseload of 20 children
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support individualized education programs
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Consult with educational teams to adapt classroom environments for students’ physical needs
• Monitor, evaluate, and modify interventions to ensure student progress
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom accommodations as needed
